Outreach & Specialized Ministries

Take the hope of Jesus outside the walls of the church through missions, recreation, & care-centered ministries like Embrace Grace and Foster & Adoption. These teams support families, serve vulnerable communities, & meet practical needs.

Worship & Production

Lead others into God's presence through music, sound, and technology. Whether you're on stage or behind the scenes, this team works together to create a worship experience that honors God. Auditions opening in the Fall.

Next Generation Student Ministries

Make a lasting impact by mentoring, teaching, and loving the next generation from kids to high school students. These teams build relationships and point young people to Jesus through fun, truth-filled environments.

Hospitality & Guest Services

Be the warm welcome that makes Sundays feel like home. Our hospitality roles include greeters in the parking lot, doors, and worship center; Guest Guides and Information Kiosk hosts; Reclaimed Coffee; ushers; and teams that follow up with visitors or host Starting Point Lunch. Whether giving directions, serving a meal, or simply smiling, you help people feel seen and valued.

Recreation

Create opportunities for connection through sports, fitness, and fun. Serve by helping with activities and events that bring people together and reflect the joy of Christ.

Adult Discipleship & Support

Help adults grow in their faith and find connection. These ministry teams walk alongside others through prayer, discipleship, and life group leadership, as well as opportunities designed specifically for men and women to grow in Christ and build community.

Communications & Media

Help tell the story of what God is doing at The Lake through photography, video, writing, social media, and print production. These teams also supports worship and special events through media roles like camera operators, audio engineers, and creative content developers. Every story shared helps invite, inform, and encourage others into community.

Care & Support

Serve by caring for others in moments that matter most. Opportunities include joining our Emergency Response Team on Sundays, assisting baptism candidates, visiting members through Pastoral Care, or praying with our Prayer Team. This team brings encouragement, comfort, and hope to our church family and guests.

Lake Kids Preschool (Babies – Kindergarten)

Care for little ones in a safe, joy-filled space where they begin to learn about God’s love. Opportunities include Little Lakers (monthly at 11 AM for babies–2 yr. olds), Kids Praise (monthly at 11 AM for ages 3–5), or leading weekly as a Connection Group Leader (9:30 AM). Volunteers also serve at Kids Zone, VBS, and Kids Camp throughout the year. All roles are subject to a background check.

Lake Kids (1st-6th Grade)

Help kids grow in their faith through worship, small groups, and fun activities. Opportunities include Kids Rock (monthly at 11 AM), weekly Connection Group Leaders (9:30 AM), and seasonal events like Kids Zone, VBS, Kids Camp, plus retreats and mission trips. All roles are subject to a background check.

Behind the Scenes

From assisting with administrative tasks during the week to supporting print production for Sundays and events, this team makes ministry happen in quiet but essential ways. If you love details and organization, this is a great fit.

Community Life & Events

Help create meaningful spaces for fellowship and connection. This team includes decorating for seasonal worship, welcoming at church events, and helping with behind-the-scenes details that make gatherings smooth and inviting.

  • Yes, for the safety of everyone, especially in kids and student ministries, background checks are required.

  • Absolutely! We have opportunities for middle school and high school students to get involved in age-appropriate roles.
