Instrumental Worship AssistantThe Instrumental Worship Assistant (IWA) will support the Worship Department by assisting with instrumental worship at Lake Church. They will be responsible for helping prepare, lead, and produce engaging instrumental worship to support the church's mission. They will report directly to the Worship Pastor. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Worship Pastor with pre-production of instrumental worship including charts, arrangements, and rehearsal technique for the worship band. Provide suggestions for instrumental equipment to enhance worship production. Direct the band during worship presentations using a talkback microphone. Assist in post-production primarily mixing the livestream broadcast. Supervise instrumentalists and complete other assigned tasks advised by Worship Pastor. Requirements: Experience leading or playing in a worship band. Proficiency in worship leading, vocal or instrumental skills. Understanding of audio/visual production for live worship. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage rehearsals/Sunday responsibilities. Commit to approximately 20 hours per week. Children's AssociateThe Children's Associate will support the Children's Ministry Department on Sundays and assist with various programs and events throughout the week. They will report directly to the Children's Minister. Key Responsibilities: Assist with Sunday morning programming for children ages birth to 6th grade as needed - including set-up/clean-up,Check-in/Check-out procedures, and classroom supervision. Help plan and execute periodic children's special events (e.g. Summer Kids' Camp, Kids' Zone Nights, Preteen Retreats, etc.) Provide administrative support such as photocopying, supply organization, and data entry. Build relationships with children and families to help them connect to the church community. Requirements: Loves working with children and has experience in a childcare role. Able to commit to 20 hours per week, including Sundays. High school diploma/GED required. Must pass background check. Maintenance Team - Set Up/Tear Down Multiple AvailableThe Set-up/Teardown Team Member will support the Facilities Team by setting up and tearing down equipment and furniture for church events. They will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and furniture is set up according to the event specifications and is taken down and stored properly after the event is over. They will report directly to James Burns, the Church Facilities Manager. Key Responsibilities: Set up and tear down equipment and furniture for church events, including chairs, tables, podiums, and decorations. Ensure that all equipment is set up and taken down according to the event specifications. Ensure that equipment and furniture are stored properly and safely after each event. Collaborate with the Facilities Team and other church staff members to ensure that all event needs are met. Assist with other facilities tasks as needed, including cleaning, maintenance, and general upkeep of the church building. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs). Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Social Media Interns (Unpaid)The Social Media Intern will support the Communications Department by managing and creating content for Lake Church's social media platforms. They will be responsible for creating engaging and shareable content to raise awareness about the church's mission and events. They will report directly to the Communications Director. Key Responsibilities: Manage and create content for Lake Church's social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Help maintain a social media content calendar to ensure timely and relevant postings. Monitor social media platforms for engagement and respond to comments and inquiries. Collaborate with church staff members to promote events and programs on social media. Conduct research and analyze social media data to identify trends and improve social media strategy. Requirements: Currently pursuing or recently received a degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field or related experience. Understanding of social media platforms, tools, and trends. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative and innovative thinking skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Photography and video editing skills are a plus.
